Karinna De Simone

Karinna De Simone is a Brazilian actor and filmmaker based between São Paulo and London. Before earning her MA in Classical Acting from LAMDA, she studied filmmaking at FAAP.

She is trained in classical theatre and stage combat, having performed in Macbeth (dir. Nancy Meckler), A Wild Night in Toledo (dir. Oliver Birch), and with the Wiggle Room improv group in London. In Brazil, she acted in O Tambor e o Anjo(dir. André Garolli) and the Netflix series Sintonia. A former professional handball and fencing athlete, Karinna brings a strong aptitude for sports and physical roles.

As a director and writer, she created Hivemind—a short film for young audiences, awarded at the Mostra de Cinema Infantil de Florianópolis and screened internationally—and the upcoming web series A Garota que Eu Gosto (2025). She also works as an assistant director, with credits on major Brazilian productions including Criminal Code and Cidade Invisível (Netflix).
