Jake Phillips is an American actor, writer, and comedian born in Texas. Currently based in London and New York, he graduated from LAMDA with an MFA in Classical Theatre, and Southern Oregon University with a BFA in Performance.

Later this year you will be able to hear him in BBC 4's Radio adaptation of the Midnight Cowboy (dir. Paul Schlesinger). Other selected performance credits include Romeo (Romeo and Juliet), Richard III (Richard III), and Jim O'Connor (The Glass Menagerie); as well as a regular player in the Wiggle Room Improv Troupe.

He is a gifted impressionist and clown having been trained by the master mime James Donlon. He is currently developing his stand-up/one man show "Baby's First Lurgey or How My Ex Inadverdently Made Me Buy a Squatty Potty"; as well as his master's thesis "Man/Monster", an exploration of the complexity of Shakespere's only named disabled character and "greatest" villian.
