Gayané Kaligian
Gayané will be appearing in LOVE OF YOUR LIFE (with Margaret Qualley). She played Cerimon in Pericles, Mrs. Reed and Mrs. Fairfax in Jane Eyre, and Marty in Circle Mirror Transformation. She was a company member and in-house fight director of Boston University’s Shakespeare Society for four years, where she played Viola in Twelfth Night, Katharine in Taming of the Shrew, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Richard II. In Boston, she’s performed in Commonwealth Shakespeare Company’s production of Pericles and Apollinaire Theatre’s Romeo and Juliet.
She also tours with Strange Kin Productions as part of the original cast of Joey Ellis’s Flying Ant Day and has performed at the Sibiu International Theatre Festival and the Verona Shakespeare Fringe Festival.
She is a former epee fencer and has stage combat certifications with smallsword, rapier, rapier and companion, and staff. Her movement training includes Laban, 5Rhythms, Suzuki, and Alexander techniques.
