Originally from Nottingham, Ruth is an actor-singer based in Birmingham.

Since graduating from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Ruth’s career has explored a variety of projects, including Shakespeare, plays with music, devising, gig theatre, children’s theatre, theatre in education, voiceover, and solo work. She is also an Associate Artist of Chronic Insanity.

Throughout 2020, Ruth worked with The Show Must Go Online, performing in multiple live-streams, including ‘Henry V’, in which she played the titular role. More recently, Ruth has worked on new writing with Chronic Insanity, performed in immersive experience ‘The Polar Express’, and will reprise the role of Fran in ‘24, 23, 22’ at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer.
